Inspired by the quiet romance of Provence, this Silver Lake home was designed to feel private, warm, and deeply inviting. Soft curves, natural textures, arched openings, and carefully framed views create a sense of intimacy and make the house feel immediately like home.

We preserved the existing magnolia tree, allowing its sculptural branches and seasonal blossoms to become a living frame for the architecture. Cascading flowers soften the balcony walls and attract hummingbirds, bringing color, movement, and nature close to everyday life.

Inside, the oval winding staircase unfolds in one continuous curve, turning movement between floors into a graceful architectural experience. On the second floor, pitched ceilings follow the rooflines, creating generous height, openness, and a distinctive sense of character throughout the private spaces.

Although the property’s proximity to the freeway initially raised concerns, the home sold quickly. Its success reflects our design philosophy: thoughtful architecture can transform limitations into meaningful experiences, create an emotional connection, and add lasting value to a property.
