1. Our Philosophy: Experience Over Trends

At Go Nuts Design, we believe timeless design starts with how a home feels—not just how it looks. We prioritize function, balance, and quality of experience over fleeting trends. From adjusting layouts to reimagining natural light and material flow, every decision is made to support better living—sleeping, eating, self-care, play, and connection. Our goal is to shape the home around the people who live in it—not the other way around.

2. Early Collaboration Saves Time & Money

One of the most common challenges we see is when clients bring city-approved plans before considering the living experience. This often results in expensive revisions and construction delays.
With our remodeling-first approach, we collaborate early—before permits—allowing us to make meaningful structural changes that align with your lifestyle. The result? A smarter plan, smoother construction, and a home you’ll actually love living in.

3. Description of Services

We specialize in residential interior and exterior remodeling design.
Our services include:

  • Design consultation & Q&A sessions

All services are tailored to your budget, goals, and lifestyle needs.

4. Scope of Work & Design Packages

We offer two primary service packages:

  • Blue Package: Full premium design with structured design phases, post-project support, and optional video showcases.

  • Gray Package: A more affordable version of our premium service, focused on essential design documentation with no post-deliverable support.

Both packages are structured by scope. Major layout changes after approval or additions beyond the original scope will incur extra charges.

5. Timeline & Revisions

Project timelines begin after the agreement is signed and initial payment is received. Delays in client communication, feedback, or payment may extend the timeline.

Each package includes a specific revision structure:

  • Revisions are limited to what’s outlined in the agreement

  • Minor changes after deliverables (not exceeding 20% of scope) are allowed

  • Additional revisions are billed separately

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information

  • Timely approvals and feedback

  • Ensuring local code compliance and permit approvals

Go Nuts Design is not liable for timeline delays resulting from client inaction.

7. Deliverables

  • Final design files are provided in PDF format after full payment.

  • CAD files (2D DWG or 3D DWG) available upon request.

  • No files will be shared with third parties (architects, engineers, city) unless explicitly stated.

  • Printing services are not included.

  • For Blue Package clients: access to a dedicated project website is granted upon final payment.

8. Post-Project Support

  • Blue Package includes 30 days of post-deliverable support for questions and clarifications.

  • Additional design changes after project completion are not included.

  • Gray Package does not include post-project support.

9. Project Pause & Termination

If a project is paused for more than 90 days, it will be considered abandoned.
If paused or terminated by either party, Go Nuts Design will:

  • Calculate the value of completed work

  • Issue a final invoice based on progress

  • Additional fees may apply to restart the project

10. Ownership of Design & Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, images, and ideas remain the intellectual property of Go Nuts Design, even after full payment.
Clients are granted a limited license to use the designs for the specific property listed in the agreement.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or claiming design authorship is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

  • Legal disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration under California law

  • The prevailing party may recover reasonable legal costs
